Ronnie Fieg Teases Upcoming New Balance 990v6 Collaboration Inspired by the ‘Knicks’

When Ronnie Fieg was introduced as the inaugural creative director for the New York Knicks last year, fans eagerly anticipated his involvement in sneaker projects related to the team. The moment has finally arrived with the unveiling of two previously unseen “Knicks” New Balance 990v6 colorways, as shared by Fieg on his Instagram.

One of these pairs boasts a sleek black-based design on the upper, while the other opts for a creamy makeup. Both iterations prominently feature the Knicks’ signature blue and orange color scheme, visible on the “N” logo, tongue, and heel. These sneakers also come in special packaging branded with Madison Square Garden insignia.

Fieg and Kith have a history of collaborating on Knicks-themed sneaker releases in recent years, including two “New York” Air Force 1 Lows and three different versions of the Asics EX89.

Despite this early sneak peek, the release details for these “Knicks” New Balance 990v6s have not been disclosed by the collaborators. Stay tuned for forthcoming updates on their availability.
