Nike’s VaporMax Roam Set to Release for the Holidays 2023

According to an internal Nike document, the VaporMax Roam, Nike’s newest iteration of the VaporMax, is a moc-style shoe that will debut in the company’s holiday season ’23 collection. The VaporMax Roam sports a matte finish on its Air bag, a woven shroud on its upper, an inner bootie, and no-sew overlays designed to shield the wearer from inclement weather.

A request for comment regarding the impending shoe went unanswered by Nike.

The VaporMax Roam, also known as the VaporMax Moc Roam, will be sold in extended sizing for $220 and will first be available in the light grey (DZ7273-100) and blacked-out colorways (style code DZ7273-001) that are featured above. When the VaporMax Roam debuts later this year, it will only be available through Nike’s SNKRS app and local retailers.

The specifications of the shoe, including its name and release window, are a work in progress because Nike frequently changes its mind about a sneaker before it goes on sale.

The Nike Air VaporMax was first introduced in 2017. Nike has since used the VaporMax sole in a number of spin-off models, including the VaporMax Moc, VaporMax Plus, and VaporMax Evo.
